Icons, which designer doesn’t love them?!! Well, I am a self-proclaimed icon fan and with this post I will like to share with readers some great sites where you can find some cool icons all at one place plus some other icon search engine sites where you can search for the icons that suits your projects. Also there are some great sites, whereby you can convert the icons from one format to another depending on your OS etc. Feel free to share with me, if you know of some such websites!

Um in Photoshop von einem in den anderen Tab (siehe Ebene verschieben) oder ein anderes Fenster zu wechseln gibt es mehrere Möglichkeiten. Man kann entweder in das Menü Fenster schauen (ganz unten sind die offenen Dateien aufgelistet), die geöffneten Fenster verschieben, bis man das gesuchte gefunden hat, Exposé am Mac nutzen oder man verwendet Shortcuts.

• Ctrl+Tab zum Wechseln in die eine Richtung
• Ctrl+Shift+Tab zum Wechseln in die andere Richtung

We live in a society of mass consumption where everything seems to be disposable, causing one of the worst problems of our time, the huge amount of garbage produced by us and thrown away in the ocean or other areas every day. Chris Jordan, has been using this subject in some his photography exhibitions, alerting us to how terrible we have been treating our planet.

Auf SmashingMagazine gibts die neuen Desktop Wallpaper Kalender für Juni 2009.

Auch von mir gibts wieder eins: “Way to Sky”

Wie schon in diesem Artikel angekündigt, wird es dieses Jahr am 18. Juli in Linz wieder einen Photowalk geben.

Wir werden beginnend beim Donaupark, über den Hauptplatz und die Altstadt bis hin zum Höhenrausch alles linztypische ”abspazieren” (hier der genaue Treffpunkt und alle Daten).

Da der Beginn um 16 Uhr sein wird und das Ende mit 20 Uhr eingeplant ist, sollte man sich auch entsprechende  Ausrüstung für Abenddämmerung und Dunkelheit mitnehmen!

Im Anschluss werden wir uns in der Arcotel Bar gemütlich zusammen setzen. Hier kann dann auch der eine oder andere Photoshop- und Wacom-Trick erfahren und erfragt werden!

What if you had a document with 2,000 prices in it, all in US dollars, and you wanted to change them all to Euros? Taking a look at today’s exchange rate, we see that the dollar is around 1.3 Euros. It’s easy to do a find/change to replace the $ symbol with the €. But what about all those numbers? Wouldn’t it be cool if we had a script that simply multiplied all the numbers in the document by 1.3? Too bad that’s impossible.
