Diese Woche habe ich mein aktuellstes Druckwerk zum ersten Mal in Händen gehalten: den WIFI it – navigator.
Das war ein sehr interessantes Projekt, dass ich mit Lydia Stuchlik fürs WIFI umgesetzt habe. Wir begleiteten es von Anfang (Ideenfindung & Konzeption) über die Fotoideen und die Fotoshootings bis zur Gestaltung & Umsetzung. Die technische und gestalterische Umsetzung lag komplett in meinen Händen; textliche Bearbeitung und kreative Arbeit übernahm Lydia (danke nochmals für die perfekte Zusammenarbeit). Fotografiert wurde von Werner Harrer vom Fotostudio Satori.

Best Photo Sequence Contest presented by SanDisk
In this episode, Julieanne Kost will explain how changes made to photographs are saved automatically to the Lightroom Catalog. Then Julieanne will demonstrate how to use both the “Save Metadata to Files” command as well as the “Automatically write changes to XMP” Catalog Setting to push changes made to photographs from the catalog into individual files (or sidecar files) so that they can be read and utilized within additional applications such as Adobe Bridge.
Ich persönlich arbeite lieber mit Bridge und dem ACR-Dialog direkt von Bridge aus (so bleibt Photoshop frei). Auch deswegen, da ich mit sehr vielen unterschiedlichen Datenformaten arbeite; von Bildformaten (jpg, tiff, psd, dng) über Vektorformaten (ai, pdf) und allen sonstigen relevanten Formaten.
Für (reine) Fotografen würde ich aber definitiv Lightroom empfehlen. Lightroom ist einfach für den Workflow mit extrem vielen Bildern ausgerichtet und logisch aufgebaut.
Info: Unter der Haube verwendet Lightroom und Bridge exakt die gleiche Engine!

Ja, dann hoffe ich, dass Probleme im Bezug auf Photoshop CS5 auch behoben worden sind!
Der neue Duden Korrektor 7.0 ist da. Nun kann man endlich wieder InDesign CS5 vertrauen. Wie schon früher erwähnt, ist ja die integrierte Rechtschreibprüfung in InDesign alles andere als gut.
Die offizielle Webseite hinkt noch etwas nach, aber hier gibt es Informationen über dieses Plugin (aktuell noch Version 6).
